She is survived by her four children Daniel Mikulski, Keira Williams, Adam Mikulski and Debra Keyser; eight grandchildren Chesarae Archer, Nathan Archer, David Mikulski, Daseana Barnett, Danel Mikulski, Kira Soliven, Deanna Wood, and Dakeisha Wood; seven great-grandchildren Jaron Archer, Janiya Archer, Nathan Archer III, Raven Archer, Jaden Branch, Kingston Branch, Julian Adams and Taliq Mikulski. She is also survived by her sisters Dorothea Cornwell, Lillie Colvin, Saundra Wilson, Margie Powell and brother Walter Fields; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was born, raised and graduated in Binghamton, NY and lived in Ithaca for the last few years. She was a retired employee of IBM. She was the Choir Director and member of her father's church, Our Free Will Baptist Church, for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to express their appreciation for the care and compassion shown to their mother by the staff at the Cayuga Ridge Extended Care. A special thank you to Doris Kusznir.
I took a plane for the first time ever in my life, It was the quickest way for me to get up to NY, and I was only going to be able to stay there for three days. Not only was it my first time, I was going by myself. I was scared to death, it ended up being ok, but I would still avoid flying as much as possible. If I could somehow know for a fact that the plane is not going to crash, then it would be all good.
I was happy to see my nephew, he is 3 already, he'll actually be 4 soon. He's getting so big, I would like to see him more often. I haven't seen my other nephews in a while either, I didn't get to see them while I was up there. One of the nights a bunch of the family went to Apple Bees for dinner, it was fun. I also had a lot of fun hanging out with my Cousins and Brother another night, we went out to a club. I wish things could be like that more often
I plan on going back up there in July, I should be able to stay a bit longer and visit with family that I haven't got to see in a long while. I can't wait!
